I truly am blessed and so grateful for this amazing journey!!
I can’t believe I am approaching the 1 year anniversary of this subscription box. When I sit and think about everything that has happened during this past year as a direct result of this one little box…
Friends and family have started to journal intentionally every single day. Strangers have become friends through our passion for self-development and the journal process. Relationships have gotten stronger within families. Women area feeling more confident and are working towards their goals. And everyone now has an amazing story to tell.
I also have a story to tell. I have spend much time reflecting over the past year this week. I have asked myself questions such as “is this really making a difference” and “what would make it even better”? My intention with this subscription box was never for it to reach the masses, but to be the tool for those that would truly find it helpful and useful. I feel like I lost sight of that in the middle of the year, and I felt the shift quickly.
That was a really bad feeling.
Luckily I have always had good gut instincts and this time around a great coach as well. (Yes, I hire coaches!! More on that another day.) Both of them were in my ear to follow my heart and lead with my heart and soul. And you know what…they were both right!
I quickly made the changes to the branding and to the purpose of the box. I stopped competing with all of the other subscription boxes out there and I learned to stay in my own damn lane! I chose to follow my heart and my soul and let them guide me once again to the point where we are today…getting ready to celebrate 1 year!!
I am so blessed to have amazing women who believed in me. I am grateful for the wonderful memories and experiences throughout this year and this journey. I am thankful for all of the lessons, successes and failures along the way.
